At least, I really want to at this particular point in time.
It has been really difficult for me to lose and maintain my weight the "natural" way.
I recently just completed a 15 days challenge with Total Life Changes Products and I managed to lose 3 pounds, which is amazing, but it seems that after I ran out of their products, the weight started piling back on and then some. It's only been 6 days!
I confess that I haven't been as disciplined as I could've and should've been and I absolutely don't have the finances at this time to devote to consistently buying their products. It doesn't help that they're often times out of stock because of their popularity.
As a result, I have made my final decision:
I'm officially starting the process to prepare for weight loss surgery. I'm fed up, and ENOUGH IS ENOUGH.
For the record, this isn't a cop out. A short cut? Maybe...but a cop out? No.
Prior to getting the surgery, I would have to adjust my lifestyle to one that will ensure I can handle the psychological changes that come getting the surgery. The dramatic results that I would get in a short time requires that I make adjustments to my diet and exercise habits beforehand. This would simply mean, eating less and exercising more---the same thing I need to do to lose weight the natural way.
There is no way to escape my need to exercise and eat right to get the results I'm after.
I've always felt like having a view of that metaphorical finish line that comes with getting the surgery would make a world of difference in keeping me motivated to stay the course, especially when the scale is jumping all over the place.
Regardless of which route I decide to take, I must develop a full understanding that this is all about making a lifestyle change. I must develop the proper mindset long before I ever consider getting on someone's operating table.
That being said, my goal is no longer a number on the scale. but a changed mind and life.
It's all about making better choices simply because I DERSERVE BETTER.
This Tuesday, I have appointment with my doctor about starting the process and I am super excited to share the journey with you guys so be on the look out.
